The Great Gatsby - Chapter 7

In the beginning of the chapter Gatsby locked himself out of him house. He's embarrassed by the rumors about him that he fires his servants and hires new ones. Gatsby and Daisy become a lot closer because they spend the afternoons together. Nick goes to Daisy's and Daisy and Jordan are listening to Tom and his girlfriend on the phone. He tries to act like he doesn't know what's happening. Gatsby feels awkward because Pammy is with him and Daisy. When Tom is done they decide to go to town and Daisy and Gatsby ride separate from the others. Finally Tom realizes that Daisy and Gatsby are having an affair and Nick and Jordan are in on it. They stop for gas at the gas station that Tom's girlfriend's husband works at and her husband tells him that he needs money for him and his wife to move to West. Tom is furious because his wife is having an affair and his girlfriend is moving away. Toms tells them that he knows all about the affair.
Question: Why is Tom mad at Daisy when he's been doing the same thing?
Comment: Gatsby and Daisy just need to be together already.
